2011–12 Macedonian First Football League

The 2011–12 Macedonian First League was the 20th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. It began on 31 July 2011 and ended on 23 May 2012.
The league title was won by FK Vardar, winning its 6th official Macedonian First League title, and first since the 2002–03 season. The team went through the season without a single defeat until Round 32, on 20 May 2012, out of 33 games played. The defeat ended their chance of being undefeated, however, concluded with only 1 loss on a very dominating season.
==Teams==
Only one team was directly relegated at the end of the 2010–11 season; last-placed Pelister had to return to the Second League after five seasons. Vardar, originally going to be relegated as well after finishing in eleventh and second-to-last place, were eventually spared as fourth-placed Second League team Miravci, winners of their relegation/promotion play-off against ninth-placed First League sides FK Skopje, were not granted a First League licence.
Because of a 1–4 defeat in their play-off, Skopje immediately returned to the Second League after just one season at the highest level of Macedonian football. The other relegation/promotion play-off featured tenth-placed Napredok and third-placed Second League team Tikveš; Napredok successfully retained their spot in the league after beating the Second League team by 2–0.
The relegated teams will be replaced by 2010–11 Second League champions 11 Oktomvri from Prilep and runners-up FK Ohrid. Both teams will make their debut in the league.
